Shocking discrimination!

In a travesty of bureaucratic, bean-counting, penny-pinching height discrimination, the Landgraviate's Ministries of Defense and Finance announced today the shocking news of the divestiture of the realm's veteran 15mm battalions.

Nineteen assorted regiments of horse, thirty-two battalions of foot, and fifteen guns of battle-proven Gallian, Germanian, and Imperial troops were shamelessly sold out of service in preference to larger 25/28mm soldiers. There were even sixteen general officers "let go."

Officials weren't commenting on how well they were bribed, but staff officers were in late night conference poring over diagrams, defense plans, and RSM95 catalogs. One adjutant was heard muttering, "...and now Crusader has gone and released dragoons and cuirassiers..."

  1. You can't beat the RSM prices . . . and the figures are quite elegant too.

Depending upon your needs, Richard at DCP will alter bag contents if requested.

Standard infantry bags (36 figures for $27.00) contain two 18-man units (the two sets of command generally have officer, musican and standard-bearer, with perhaps an NCO (depends upon country).

Standard cavalry bag (12 horses, 12 riders for $22.20) contains one unit of cavalry, including command.

Be aware that the "Firing" pose has a mix of standing-firing and kneeling-firing as well as command.

I heartily suggest that you get a sample of each figure that you might be interested in for future orders -- that way you can see the various poses.

I trust that you'll like your RSM figs (I like mine). I should also note that I have no connection with DCP other than as a customer.

  3. Jeff,

I'm very interested in the new blog.

And I like the RSM95 very much. I have a full BAR battalion and 12 cuirassiers here now.

    Thanks for dropping in!

  4. Hi there Ed,

The corruption of imaginary (no to mention real) bureaucrats is shameless! Nevertheless, glad you've got some RSMs coming soon. They are a blast to work with and paint up fast. And, you can't beat their large size. You'll be very pleased with the results.

    Best Regards,

    Stokes Schwartz

  6. Those diminutive 15mm forces will be of some use (to the staff) in planning the future grand campaigns that your new 28mm forces will fight out!
