I've always wanted a journal to record the myriad miniature wargame ideas, plots, and schemes that I come up with. And the couple that actually come into existence. So that's what this blog will be: a journal of ideas, old and new, together with links to things I find interesting. Pull up a mouse or some other pointing device and look around.

And so it begins...
Sixty-six of the Landgrafin's Fusiliers, newly drafted from the Minden (Miniatures) district, on parade before being issued their undergarments (primer):
Loverly! Like aj, I eagerly await their uniform issue! I hope that the Landgrafein will delight in their appearance as well.
Are those bases, perhaps, the 3mm bases from Litko? They appear to be plywood and I have been considering buying 1" by 1" bases for my foot from Litko. One hundred for about $12.00 seems cheap enough, considering how tedious cutting such things are!
Wow! You are NOT a man to do things by halves! A BIG BATTALION for your first venture in "Ed's Original Uniforms" -then, the Landgrafin's design fully deserves this...
Well, get on with it lad! This should be a great looking unit when it is done. Do you use white glue to affix the figure to your bases? I'm thinking of changing over from superglue to white glue and wondered how well the white glue holds the figures.
An impressive array, Ed! I'm looking forward to seeing pics of them in their finery.
ReplyDeletePlease allow me to echo AJ's comments. The first word that came to my mind also was "impressive".
ReplyDeleteI too look forward to seeing them "in uniform".

Yes, they are 20mm squares from Litko, the 3mm thick ones.
ReplyDeleteSadly, I just discovered my primer is empty...they will have to wait until tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteSorry, I'm not the machine you are Herr Alte!
ReplyDeleteThey have been primered, though, and I will get them inked at least this weekend.
