I've always wanted a journal to record the myriad miniature wargame ideas, plots, and schemes that I come up with. And the couple that actually come into existence. So that's what this blog will be: a journal of ideas, old and new, together with links to things I find interesting. Pull up a mouse or some other pointing device and look around.

Quick question for local readers
Is anyone besides Lloyd von Solms-Braunfels planning on attending my BAR game at ChimaeraCon on 15 March?
Just curious if I need to rebase more troops quickly!
I sure that I'm a very long ways from "local" . . . but not everyone knows where you live . . . perhaps it would be a good idea to list the location of said Con.
Ummm ... I would point out that my fictitious grafschaft is "Zolms-Braunwald"; "Solms-Braunfels" is the actual name of the historical county and I've been avoiding using the genuine names. I believe there are present holders (or at least legal pretenders) to those various titles and I prefer not to aggrevate them. Hence: "Zolms" - hyphen.
Having said that I will most certainly be there at ChimaeraCon to be held in San Antonio, Texas, U.S.A. on 15 March 2008. ahem.

True enough...although I kind of figured that anyone who has even heard of ChimaeraCon would know which neighborhood! And if not...

Oops! My apologies to any and all injured parties of the "Solms" and "Zolms" varieties.
ReplyDeleteSee you there, Lloyd!

Sadly San Antonio is a bit far of a reach for me in time and transportation.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I shall cheer along with many others here from the bloggosphere!
